The start of the Premier League is finally upon us, and tonight we’ll see who wins the first week.
In our opinion, it is quite a skewed draw with MvG, Littler, and Humphries all in the same half of the draw. Welshman Gerwyn Price sits in the other half of the draw however.
Based on what we wrote in our preview for the Premier League, our tips for tonight are as follows:
7.5 points on Luke Littler to beat Luke Humphries at 10/11.
5 points on Littler to win the night at 4/1.
An ambitious 5 points on Littler -2.5 v Humphries at 11/4
Whilst these tips go very heavy on Littler, with the way he’s playing, he is going to be very tough to beat. We also think that Humphries may be over-rated by the bookmakers right now. Based on these things, we’re quite confident in our darts tipping for night 1 of the Premier League.
In spite of the Iceman playing in front of his home crowd, he has not been playing the level recently that is needed to win a premier league night.
