The Grand Prix is a fantastic tournament. The aim here though is to make fantastic profit.
Tips are:
8 points Luke Littler to win the grand prix at 10/11
3 points Luke Littler – Gian van Veen final at 7/1
2 points Gian van Veen to win his quarter at 13/5
Luke Littler’s last ranking major was the matchplay. He won it with a tournament average of over 110. He has won 6 ranking majors in a row and won 9 of his last 10. In spite of that, because of him not winning the world series finals – a non-ranking major – hype around him has disappeared and his price has went from around 8/13 to 10/11. If you go on the exchange you will be able to get odds against. But for the sake of tipping it will be displayed at 10/11. Huge price.
Gian van Veen is finally coming back to form and this format suits him wonderfully. He hits shots at key times, maybe better than anyone in the world. A skill that will help him a lot in the grand prix. Last year he hit the highest ever average in the grand prix. He also seems to struggle with playing multiple games in a day – likely a hangover from his surgery earlier this year. With the grand prix, every game is a different day. Should be a perfect format for him.
